Mill Creek Park

Spent a couple hours photographing at my favorite place, Fellows Riverside Gardens.  I wasnt sure what would be in bloom this late in the year, but it was definitely worth the trip.

I took a few images of some flowers in the garden:
Patch of daisies.  How many bees can you find?
nice orange poppy.

Pink Rose.  There were a number of different colored roses still looking nice.

I'm not sure what this is, but they had quite a few of these in all different colors.

Nice contrast and color.

Here is a red version of the purple one above.

Red Rose in the Rose Garden
Striking yellow flower.

OK, now that wasnt all I did.  The REAL HDR images, with a little artistic touches are below:

This was taken under the Suspension Bridge that you will see as the last image in this post.

I read somewhere that photographing woods is not easy.  This is looking down a path in an area we locally call "The Flats"

This is from the same image as above but with a little different processing.

This image of the creek with a modified "surreal" effect.

And here is my version of the Mill Creek Park Suspension Bridge.  This has been photographed by many, but here is my version...

Yes, I took this image today.  This started off as an HDR, was stacked in Photoshop, but  the effects were produced in Gimp.  It was then color corrected somewhat in Photoshop again, then the text was added, and then placed here.
